Intramural Soccer

Last night AEPi's Intramural soccer team had their first match of the semester. In the first half our chapter came out strong with great shots and solid defense. Early in the second half senior brother Trip Weintraub took a great shot from right outside the box and scored our first goal. Matt Muchnick was credited with the assist. With great goaltending from keeper Alex Shelow, and excellent defense the Alpha Pi guys held off Alpha Tau Omega and got the victory! We are looking forward to our next match!

Sukkah Building!!

To kick off the holiday of Sukkot, brothers from our chapter helped Temple Hillel with the building of their Sukkah. Helping out the Jewish community is something the Alpha Pi Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi takes seriously and enjoys doing when ever there is a need for a helping hand. The president of Temple Hillel and one of our senior brothers, Andy Markowitz, is one of the many brothers who is always so helpful to the Jewish community here on Temple's campus and we are so proud of the great things that he does and how well his accomplishments reflect on our beloved chapter. The celebration of Jewish holidays is an AEPi tradition and there is no better way to embrace the festivities of this, The Time of Our Joy, by lending our efforts for the building of a magnificent Sukkah.

Police Appreciation Night

Last night, September 1st, the Alpha Pi chapter hosted its first event of the the 2010 school year. Our chapter gave thanks to the men and women who have our backs on a daily basis by inviting both the Temple Police Department and the Philadelphia Police Department to our house for coffee and doughnuts. The event was a great success; several officers stopped by and took part in the festivities. This is a small way to show our gratitude for these fine people in our area, we know that this showed how much we appreciate the law enforcement and the hard work they do protecting us.
