Purim Time!

Jewish holidays in Alpha Epsilon Pi are always something that our brothers look forward to! The most recent holiday of Purim was one of celebration and togetherness within the Alpha Pi house on broad street! Last night Temple Universities Chabad Rabbi, Baruch Kantor, came over to the house for the reading of the Megillah and to help our brothers celebrate the holiday right! Brothers from the chapter gathered around the rabbi while snacking on bagels and hamantash while we took part in the Jewish readings together!

Alpha Pi's 55th Anniversary!

Today marks the 55th Anniversary of our beloved Alpha Pi Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi! Through the years of our chapter we have rushed such wonderful young Jewish men and helped them find their ways into the ranks of the brotherhood of Alpha Epsilon Pi. Currently our chapter has 72 active brothers and is going strong. We are on top of the race for chapter of the year on Temple University's Campus, have the largest house on campus, great alumni relations and obviously we have the strongest brotherhood bond! Tonight after our brotherhood meeting we had a small birthday celebration for the Alpha Pi Chapter! We look forward to progressing this great brotherhood for another 55 plus years!

Above is a small clip from the birthday celebration!

Our chapter along with the AEPi chapter at Drexel University were there for the celebration. This happened to be one of the only times that brothers of all three chapters in the Philadelphia area were together besides conclave. Police Appreciation Night

Last night, September 1st, the Alpha Pi chapter hosted its first event of the the 2010 school year. Our chapter gave thanks to the men and women who have our backs on a daily basis by inviting both the Temple Police Department and the Philadelphia Police Department to our house for coffee and doughnuts. The event was a great success; several officers stopped by and took part in the festivities. This is a small way to show our gratitude for these fine people in our area, we know that this showed how much we appreciate the law enforcement and the hard work they do protecting us.

Tuesday April 27th, Alpha Epsilon Pi presented its 3rd annual Holocaust remembrance event in partnership with Israel week, Hillel at Temple, Delta Phi Epsilon, and Sigma Alpha Mu. In the early morning on the center of campus we held a name reading for all of the victims of the Holocaust. Another Outstanding Brother!

Josh Schrager (2010) a senior brother of the Alpha Pi Chapter was awarded the Kalas Award, named after the Philadelphia Phillies beloved past announcer Harry Kalas.
